Since the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, until the solemn signing of the act of surrender on May 8, 1945 in Berlin, the joint action of the Allied Armies and the French Resistance enabled France to regain freedom.

8h30 am – Ver-sur-Mer : Franco-British ceremony; laying of the foundation stone of the British memorial in the presence of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.

09.15 am – Sainte-Marie-du-Mont: Danish ceremony; presence of a French minister

10:00 am – Bayeux: British ceremony at the Cathedral; presence of a French minister

10:30am – Arromanches: Dutch ceremony; presence of a French minister

11:00 am – Saint Clement: Norwegian ceremony; presence of a French minister

11:00 am Osmanville: Franco-American ceremony; presence of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic

12:00 – Courseulles-sur-Mer (Juno Beach): Canadian ceremony; presence of Mr. Édouard Philippe, Prime Minister

12:15pm – Bayeux: British ceremony at British War Cemetery of Bayeux; presence of a French minister

4.30 pm (estimated time) – Colleville-Montgomery: French ceremony, in honor of the Kieffer commandos, presided over by the President of the French Republic

6.30pm – Courseulles-sur-Mer (Juno Beach): international ceremony, presided over by Mr. Édouard Philippe, Prime Minister
